The wife who was murdered by her husband on Wednesday (07) in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, would have sought for help with a clinic receptionist where the crime occurred.
The victim, identified as Amanda Fernandes, attended a medical clinic of dermatology and aesthetics with her younger daughter. When they arrived at the scene, the woman appeared to be calm.
According to the Civil Police report, minutes after the victims’ arrival, the suspect, Samir Carvalho, entered the establishment and remained at the reception with them. Amanda walked away from the man, and discreetly asked the receptionist to call the police.
Then, his wife and daughter sought shelter in the dermatologist’s room, owner of the clinic, reporting that her husband was armed and threatened to kill her. The owner immediately locked the room of the room, put chairs to block and called the police.
When they arrived at the scene, the police made sure that the perpetrator did not carry any weapons. He would have lifted the blouse he wore, and according to the agents, he had calm temperament. They asked the doctor to open the door, and soon after the man would have fired the shots at his daughter and wife.

Military Police Sergeant Samir Carvalho killed his wife to stab wounds and injured his daughter on Wednesday afternoon (7), on Senador Pinheiro Machado Avenue, in the Vila Belmiro neighborhood of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. The military was arrested in the act.
The Military Police were called around 1 pm to meet the case of domestic violence. With the arrival of the teams, the doctor opened the door of the room where he was with Amanda and his daughter, when Samir took a firearm that was in another room of the clinic, and fired several shots, which hit Amanda and his daughter.
Following, the sergeant took a knife and gave about ten stab wounds in Amanda, who died at the scene. The daughter, shot, was rescued and taken to Santa Casa de Santos.
Sergeant Samir Carvalho was arrested and sent to the Women’s Defense Police Station (DDM), which investigates the case. The Military Police follow the progress of the work.
