Woman pulled alive from grave after screaming for help in MG

A 36-year-old woman was found buried alive in the municipal cemetery of Visconde do Rio Branco, in the interior of Minas Gerais, on Tuesday (28).

The Military Police (PM) was triggered after gravediggers at the cemetery spotted a tomb closed with brick and fresh cement, in addition to blood marks near the site.

Arriving at the cemetery, the police heard cries for help and decided to break the brick wall. The woman was then removed from the tomb and taken by a Samu team to São João Batista hospital.

According to the victim, she was at home with her husband when the residence was invaded by two hooded individuals who attacked her.

She also told the police that, the day before, she had kept weapons and drugs for two people and that these items would have been lost.

Two suspects aged 20 and 22, respectively, have been identified but have not been detained so far.
