A woman from Florida was arrested last weekend on charges of putting a four-year-old boy inside dryer washing machine and then put the machine into operation.
Amber Chapman, 35, was arrested for abusing a minor when the boy told investigators that “Miss Chapman” was the one who put him in the machine with some towels and that he started turning “around”, according to the authorities and as reported by NY Post.
The little boy was first taken to hospital in February with bruises on his eyes, shoulders and back. The boy told the Lake County Sheriff’s Office that the 35-year-old opened the door at some point in the cycle and then closed it again to keep turning.
A medical report on the case stated that the doctors found that the injuries confirmed the boy’s allegations.
After gathering enough information, police arrested Chapman over the weekend. He was later released on $ 15,000 bail.
The local authorities did not make any reference to the woman’s motive.
