Woman searches for her double online and murders her to fake her own death

Reality surpasses fantasy, proof of which is the story of a woman living in Germany, but of Iraqi origin, who searched for her double on the Internet and murdered her to fake her own death.

According to the authorities, after an extensive search and contacting several people with features similar to hers through social networks, Sharaban “K”, 24, found Khadidja O, 23, who was a beauty blogger. The young woman was cruelly deceived with the promise of a free makeup service to be murdered.

The alleged murderer agreed with her victim that she would pick her up for the appointment they made. Going through her, with the help of her boyfriend, they took Khadidja to a wooded area in the city of Ingolstadt, where they finally killed her.

After this terrible act, the couple drove to the city and abandoned the car in which they were traveling with the body of the young woman inside so that it could be located and Sharaban was left for dead.

According to the Ingolstadt Prosecutor’s Office, the victim was stabbed at least 50 times to end up with a disfigured face, making it practically unrecognizable. Due to the great resemblance between the two women, the fact that her body was found in the attacker’s car and that the events occurred after Sharaban was reported missing, the authorities and relatives believed that it was really her.

However, when the investigations began, the police found incompatibility with the DNA of the body and the alleged deceased, so they discovered that it was not the same woman who had previously been reported missing.

According to the German press, Sharaban allegedly murdered his double because he intended to flee his family without a trace. However, the police did not reveal the reason why she tried to get away from her parents.

It should be noted that the alleged murderers were arrested and await their trial in prison. Everything seems to indicate that the prosecution is seeking life imprisonment.
