One woman was shot dead after dropping her son off at school, on Wednesday morning (18), in the city center of Igaci, in the interior of Alagoas . The victim was returning home when he was hit by gunfire.
According to the Military Police, there is still no preliminary information about the perpetrator of the crime and teams are patrolling the region in an attempt to locate the criminals.
A video obtained by CNN shows moments after Ana Paula da Silva, 39, was shot. The crime took place near the city’s Forum.
In a statement, the Military Police said that they isolated the area and contacted the competent authorities.
