A 40 -year -old woman was caught in the act last Sunday (11), Mother’s Day, in Labrea, in the interior of Amazonas, for attempted murder against her two daughters. Police said she assaulted her 16 -year -old daughter and threatened another 20, who is pregnant.
The victims were answered after a complaint received by the prosecutor. The blatant occurred at the suspicion’s own residence and was part of Operation Paths Seguros, focused on facing domestic and family violence.
According to delegate Kelly Souto, head of the police unit, the team received a complaint sent by the prosecutor, warning that the woman was assaulting her daughters.
“The woman even threw a third against her 16 -year -old daughter. In addition, she threatened her 20 -year -old daughter, who is pregnant and even presented bleeding. The victims were attended and received the necessary care,” said the delegate.
During a statement at the police station, the victims reported that the mother was using drugs in front of them and also two other daughters, 11 and 15, who were not present at the time of occurrence.
The woman was charged with threat and attempted bodily injury. It will be submitted to a custody hearing and must remain available to the court.
