Coach Thiago Schutz spoke on his social networks about the message in which he threatens actress and screenwriter Lívia La Gatto if she does not remove one of her videos from the air within 24 hours.
In a print released on her Instagram account, she shows Thiago’s message: “You have 24 hours to remove your content about me. After that process or bullet. You choose”.
Schutz manifested himself on his Instagram profile and said that the word “bullet” was misinterpreted. “When I use the word bullet, it’s not bullet in the literal sense, to make that very clear to everyone, okay? It’s a bullet, a march, a punch, in the sense that we are going to resolve this issue, this issue needs to be resolved ”, he said on video.
He justifies himself by saying that he is “a guy who uses a lot of slang, swears a lot” and that this is how he communicates. “I am not ashamed to speak that way.”
“I’m 34 years old, no criminal record, I don’t carry a gun, I don’t participate in a shooting club, I would be incapable of shooting or hurting anyone, right?”, he adds.
He said that he decided to send those messages to Lívia because he was “being attacked for several weeks for no reason”. “I am human just like you, I feel emotions just like you.”
Schutz videos are called “macho”
Schutz’s message was motivated by a video that Lívia posted on her Instagram account, which has more than 200,000 followers, in which she imitates, in a satirical tone, men with hate speeches against women.
In the recording, she impersonates a bald man with a beard and a microphone, without referring directly to the coach.
Thiago Schutz went viral in recent weeks due to his comment on a podcast. In the video, he says he turned down a beer offered by a woman he was dating because he was already drinking Campari (a bitter alcoholic distillate).
“Women have this thing about trying to mold the guy, putting the guy under her. But it’s not out of malice. It’s like a test really, right?”, She stated in the recording.
Schutz has an Instagram profile with more than 300,000 followers under the name “Manual Red Pill” in which he publishes the cuts of the programs in which he participates.
“That’s why a man’s purpose is always above”, “You don’t need to change your ways to please women” and “Man is more made for sex than women” are some of the controversial themes of his videos pointed out by Internet users. as sexists and misogynists.
After Lívia made the case public, Thiago also shared on his own social network a print of several calls made to the actress, with the supposed intention of “exchanging an idea”. Then Lívia countered by saying: “The curious case of the male who threatens a woman with death and doesn’t know why she doesn’t answer”.
In Lívia’s post, there are comments supporting the actress, such as “I got here because of the news of the threat she received from the handsome man over there. I’m happy that he himself is helping to publicize his work” and “now I understand the bullshit. There’s actually no bullshit. Just a weak male burning himself.”
When revealing, in the stories, the threat suffered, the actress captioned: “Tchurma, the warrior campa threatened me. Should I be worried?”.
The Public Security Secretariat of São Paulo reported that the case was registered as a threat at the Electronic Police Station and forwarded to the 27th DP (Campo Belo-SP). As it is a crime subject to conditioned criminal action, the police authority is in contact with the victim so that she can inform whether she wants to criminally represent the author so that investigations can be initiated.
The actress spoke in a post on social networks. Read the full comment below:
The most worrying factor of this public threat is the absence of fear of justice for being above the law.
The previous government authorized and encouraged attacks against women who raised their voices and we are still living that moment.
This guy speaks daily to an exercise of men with their fragile masculinities, QUESTIONING the few rights women have earned. FEW.
It’s hate speech to any woman who doesn’t accept being submissive. It is a speech that gives arguments to men who rape, harass and kill women because they are insecure in their masculinity. It is a DISSERVICE to any achievement of Equal Rights, Rights
Humans.
Therefore, this type of content that incites violence against women is no longer freely available on the internet. You have to intimidate and expose the aggressor YES! With the Law there will be punishment and breaking of this cycle that compromises the mental health of ALL women.
Misogyny is not an opinion. And as an artist I will mock YES! Exposing to ridicule yes in my videos, any manifestation that diminishes women. And if you felt bothered, just GET BETTER.
Campari Brasil manifests itself on the case
The company published a note about the case of Thiago Schutz, who became known on the internet for drinking the drink. See it in full:
We received numerous comments about the expectation of a brand campaign, engagement opportunity, among other mentions related to the recent event.
It’s not time to campaign. It’s not about engagement. The matter is serious and we need to treat it with due importance.
The Campari Group, due to the latest events involving the company’s name, hereby informs that it does not have, and never had, any type of relationship, bond or contact with Thiago Schutz.
Campari sympathizes with all the women impacted by what happened, and declares that it vehemently rejects any type of attitude of prejudice or violence.
