A man died after falling from the 14th floor into an elevator pit of a building under construction in Itapema, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, this Monday (14). He was one of the construction workers.
The worker was found with his legs broken and already lifeless inside the ventilation duct of the stairs by the Fire Department, according to the corporation. Officers were called around 4pm this Monday.
His identity has not been released by authorities.
The Civil Police reported that it is investigating the case and that it is waiting for the expert reports to reach a conclusion.
