World Bank: Extraordinary lending to Ukraine increases to 460 million euros

An emergency financial liquidity loan to Ukraine will increase to 460 million euros with contributions from Sweden and the Netherlands, and will be submitted today for approval by the bank’s board, according to two sources who have received relevant information.

The Ukrainian government will be able to receive the loan almost immediately after its approval by the board, and this development may be delayed until Monday, according to a source in Reuters.

The reported disbursement is being settled at an unusual rate for the World Bank, while providing Ukraine with valuable financial liquidity to strengthen its defenses against Russian invasion by bombing urban centers, as well as the largest European nuclear unit. .
