Fujitsu has released the world’s lightest notebook Lifebook WU-X/G2. It is made of carbon fiber, so it weighs only 634 grams, but at the same time it has flagship equipment. The most interesting thing is that the novelty is even lighter than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablet, which weighs 682 grams. The dimensions of the laptop are also relatively small – 307 × 197 × 15.5 mm.
The Lifebook WU-X/G2 is equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core processor (i5-1235U or i7-1255U) and up to 32GB LPDDR4X-4266 RAM in the maximum configuration. The internal memory is a solid-state drive up to 2 TB. The laptop has a 13.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. A high-definition webcam with a protective shutter is installed on top. The device is powered by a battery with a capacity of only 25 Wh, according to the manufacturer, autonomy is up to 11 hours.



As for connection interfaces, there are two USB Type-C (USB3.2 Gen2) ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, one USB Type-A (USB3.2 Gen1), RJ45 for network cable, HDMI, 3.5 mm jack for headphone and SD card slot. There is support for Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6 and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button. The laptop is running Windows 11 operating system.

The Lifebook WU-X/G2 is currently available for sale in the domestic market (Japan). Prices start at 179,317 yen (approximately 81,085 rubles) for the version with a Core i5 processor and 8 / 256 GB of memory.
