World's Oldest Man Reveals He's A Liverpool Fan – The Secrets Of Longevity

At the age of 111 years and 223 days, Merseyside resident John Alfred Tinniswood, in a nursing home in Southport, has revealed his favorite football team. The 111-year-old claims to be a Liverpool fan, having been born in 1912, just 20 years after Liverpool were founded by John Houlding. In his lifetime, apart from the first two league titles, he has seen every major victory Liverpool have ever achieved. In total, that's 45 trophies Liverpool have lifted, including all eight FA Cup successes. According to Guinness World Records, Tinniswood has taken the title of the world's oldest man after the death of 114-year-old Juan Vicente Perez from Venezuela.
