Formula that wins you do not change: to open the dances of the second appointment of the Sanremo 2021 Festival will once again be the New Proposals which, in order of appearance, will see alternating on stage Wrongonyou, Greta Zuccoli, Davide Shorty and the Dellai brothers. As happened the first evening for Avincola, Elena Faggi, Folcast and Gaudiano, they too will immediately undergo the vote by the Opinion Jury, the Press Office and the Televoting, which will account for 34%. The first 2 classified songs will enter the final on Friday 5 March, while the other 2 will be automatically eliminated, without the possibility of being fished out later.
But who are the last four New Proposals selected by AmaSanremo and ready to make their way into the first Festival in the pandemic era of history?
It will break the ice Wrongonyou, born Marco Zitelli, with the song Flight lessons. His career begins thanks to the platform Soundcloud: it is there, in fact, that he publishes his first works to the point of attracting the attention of an Oxford professor who offers him to record some pieces. From there, Marco’s career took off and reached the most important European clubs. After him, to take the stage will be Greta Zuccoli who will propose his Everything about you. Artistically discovered by the famous Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice, who also wanted her on one of his tours, Zuccoli, born in 1998, participates in Sanremo with a song written by his own Diodato involved in artistic production.
The third to appear on the stage of the Ariston Theater will be, instead, Davide Shorty with Regina. We met him at X Factor, where he finished third in 2015, and now we find him in Sanremo with a song a little bit soulful, a little funk and a little R’n’B that has already conquered the critics. The last to perform will be the Dellai, namely Matteo and Luca, the original twins from Cesena. They come up with I’m luke, a song with a pop feel that tells of how everyone can get up and do it even after falling. The two brothers had risked not participating due to Covid-19 but, fortunately, the situation returned allowing them to compete.
