At the moment, the option to install Android applications in Windows 11 is only being tested, and the only official way to run mobile games and programs on a computer is to use the Amazon Appstore, which currently has only 50 offers. Earlier, craftsmen found a workaround for installing any Android applications manually, but for this you need to tinker with the commands in the “Terminal” and ADB. Now there is a free utility WSATools that automatically installs the applications provided to it in one click.
In WSATools, just select the installation file with the APK extension and click on the Install button, after which the application will be installed in Windows 11.
The utility was created by the developer Simone Franco and is distributed free of charge through the Microsoft Store. After this program got into the media, the creator announced that a not quite ready old version of the application has now been published in the application store – in the near future he will release a new version with corrected shortcomings and improved design.
oh, well. the app is not ready, this is an old version! if you download it, you’ll manually need:
— adb in your path env variable
— dev mode in WSA enabled
— have launched at least one Android app since reboot, or WSA will be unresponsiveWSATools will come out soon, by the way https://t.co/FQJFLQIyUH
