The WSATools utility, which greatly simplifies the installation of Android applications in Windows 11, will soon allow you to back up all installed programs and then restore them in two clicks. This feature will be extremely useful if the user, for some reason, needs to reinstall the Windows Subsystem for Android.
Microsoft has long been testing the ability to run Android apps on the Windows 11 operating system for Windows Insiders. However, the only way to do this is to use the Amazon Appstore with a very limited number of apps. Developer Simone Franco has created a utility called WSATools that not only simplifies this process, but also allows you to install any APK file.
WSATools Backups! I’ve been testing this for a while and it’s the new WSATools 0.2.0 tool.

In the upcoming WSATools 0.2.0 update, there will be a function to create backups of Android applications installed on a computer along with user data, as well as logins and passwords. This is done by backing up the entire virtual disk (such as VHDX) that stores the Windows Subsystem for Android. In addition, several other features will be added to WSATools, such as installing and activating ADB in the Windows Subsystem for Android, which reduces the need for pre-configuration.
There is no exact release date for WSATools 0.2.0 yet, but it should be soon. The utility can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
