«X Factor 2021»: the judges confirmed, but the gender labels are removed in the categories

Never change a winning team. And so, after the success of the last edition, Emma Marrone, Mika, Manuel Agnelli and Hell Raton they go back behind the counter of X Factor 2021 confirming the disruptive strength of a talent who, this year, decides to go even further not only for the new bet represented by Ludovico Tersigni, the protagonist of successful series like Summertime e SHAME Italy who is preparing to take the helm of the Sky-branded program produced by Fremantle after ten years of Cattelan management, but also for an important novelty that is announced by the judges themselves: away the labels of gender, age and training in the choice of their teams.

This means that, starting this year, The categories of Under Men, Under Women, Over and Groups will no longer exist: each judge can, in fact, form the team he likes most regardless of the very strict criteria that have marked all past editions of X Factor. “Borders are finally breaking down” explains, in fact, Emma while Hell Raton underlines the fact that, starting from this new edition, “our teams will really resemble us”. “We will be free to choose the artists regardless of the category” Marrone insists while Manuelito, the winner of the last edition with Casadilego, reiterates that “each of us will follow his own idea of ​​music”.

It is the beginning of a new one X Factor, of a program that has always been in step with the times and that, once again, decides to look forward after investing on the unpublished young talents immediately, and no longer in step with the final. A renewed attention to a world in constant evolution and that Sky and Fremantle have always looked at with an avant-garde spirit, careful to never fall behind. The first stages of the talent show will be recorded between June and July, while the broadcast on Sky and NOW is scheduled, as always, for next September.
