In the comments Bloomberg a company representative confirmed the changes in the user agreement, but did not provide clarification regarding the specifics of the data provided.
The biometrics section states that the site collects this information for security and customer verification purposes. Data on employment and education, judging by the text, will be used to offer vacancies and search for candidates.
Owner of X Corp. Elon Musk has not yet commented on the situation.
New social network
The billionaire acquired Twitter in October 2022. Even at the stage of preparing the agreement, he repeatedly emphasized the problem of fake accounts on the social network. The administration introduced certain changes to the functionality of the platform, but the solution turned out to be ineffective.
