The most demanding game to date, Microsoft Flight Simulator, is out on the Xbox Series today. The project, which at the time of its release was called the first real nextgen, is incredibly demanding on the PC graphics subsystem. How do modern consoles deal with it?

As it turned out, quite good. Both Series S and Series X deliver stable 30fps. Of course, we still have to find out in what real resolution the image is displayed on consoles and how much the graphics differ from the maximum for a PC, but in any case, the picture remains incredible.

However, in the case of the Series S, lower performance still affects detail. And if in the case of natural beauties this is almost imperceptible, then when flying over cities, the difference is clearly visible. On the junior console, the details of buildings are significantly lower, and the number of objects is not at all the same as on Series X. On the other hand, the junior console costs $ 300, and that says it all.
