Music streaming service Xiami Music has announced that it will soon be shutting down.

As a reminder, Xiami Music was founded in 2008 and subsequently acquired by the Chinese tech giant Alibaba Group. It was one of the first music services in China.
Xiami Music Player will stop working on February 5, 2021. After this date, the application will be removed from online stores and the service will remain available only for performers. Users can export their playlists for now. From March 5, 2021, all functions will stop working, with the exception of authorization of performers.
