Xiaomi has started selling its inexpensive Redmi 9T smartphone in Russia today. The launch took place without any warning, preparation or presentation.

The model debuted in Europe in early January, along with a more expensive smartphone – Redmi Note 9T, which is already available in Russia. There, the smartphone is offered for 179 and 199 euros, respectively, for the version with 64 GB and 128 GB of flash memory, which, when converted to the current rate, is 15 884 and 17 659 rubles.

In Russia, the smartphone is available at a price of 14,990 and 16,990 rubles, respectively, in blue, green, orange and gray body colors. The first buyers, before April 7, are offered a smart bracelet Mi Smart Band 4 NFC, which separately costs 3,290 rubles.

Redmi 9T is equipped with a 6.53-inch screen with a Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), an embedded 8 megapixel front camera, a main quadruple camera (48, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels), stereo speakers, a side fingerprint scanner, SoC Snapdragon Snapdragon 662, 6000 mAh battery with support for 18W charging. Interestingly, a 22.5 watt charger is included in the package.
There is NFC support. The MIUI 12 shell based on the Android 10 operating system is installed out of the box. The dimensions are 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm, and the weight is 198 grams.
