Xiaomi has officially announced that the long-awaited global announcement of the Xiaomi 12 series will take place on March 15th. The event will be streamed live on various platforms including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook as well as Xiaomi’s own website.
Although the company has not revealed the models that will be introduced to the global market, sources say that the company will release Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X. All three models were launched in China. According to the latest data, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra model is delayed and will be released in the second quarter of 2022.
Chinese Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X are equipped with a 6.28-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Xiaomi 12 Pro version is equipped with a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro received a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system, while Xiaomi 12X has a Snapdragon 870 mobile platform installed. Xiaomi 12 Pro is equipped with a 4600 mAh battery with support for 120 W fast charging. Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X have a 4500 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging.
According to rumors, Xiaomi 12 Pro in Europe will be offered with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory, as well as with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory for 1000 and 1200 euros respectively. The standard version will cost 800 and 900 euros respectively. And Xiaomi 12X will start from 600 euros.
