According to the latest research data from the analytical company Canalys, in the first quarter of this year, Xiaomi came out on top in the European smartphone market.
Xiaomi currently holds 23% of the European smartphone market, improving its last year’s result by an impressive 85%. The first place with a market share of 35% is occupied by Samsung, which was able to increase shipments by 21%.

The third place was taken by the American company Apple, which previously occupied the second position. Apple is now able to occupy 19% of the market, improving its last year’s result by 22%. Separately, it is worth noting the breakthrough Oppo, which increased sales by 153% over the year, taking 4% of the market and fourth place. Huawei slowed down 81% in sales, ranking only in fifth place.
In the Spanish smartphone market, Xiaomi has been ranked number one for five consecutive quarters. In the first quarter, the company held 35% of the local market, while Samsung and Apple held 27% and 11% of the market, respectively.

In Eastern Europe, Xiaomi holds the third place.
