The Chinese version of Black Friday is held on June 18, and many smartphone manufacturers introduce new low-cost models right on this date to maximize sales. For example, OnePlus showed the Ace Racing edition, and HONOR showed the 70th series. And in our hands was a novelty from Xiaomi – Redmi Note 11T Pro on a fresh Dimensity 8100.
The review will focus on the Redmi Note 11T Pro, but it’s worth understanding its differences with the Redmi Note 11T Pro+. In fact, only in terms of battery capacity and fast charging power: 5080 mAh and 67 W versus 4400 mAh and 120 W, respectively. From this, Redmi Note 11T Pro with a larger battery is 2 grams heavier than Redmi Note 11T Pro +. And the plus version is a little richer in memory.

Appearance
The design of Redmi Note 11T Pro refers to the past fashion for iridescent gradients. Under the rays of light, the blue color turns to yellow, and at some angles you can see a little red. The matte plastic of the back tactilely resembles glass. The ends are also plastic and matte, but without texture.
You can’t expect premium materials in a smartphone for 20-25 thousand rubles, but Redmi Note 11T Pro is practical and functional in every sense. For example, the audio jack is no longer found in flagships, but here it can be found on the top edge.

Display
Now more and more models are being produced with OLED matrices, and it is increasingly difficult to find a good device with a classic LCD (in particular, with IPS). And the Note 11T Pro just uses a good IPS – bright, with support for 144 Hz and with high resolution. The identical screen of the 11T Pro+ received an A+ rating from DisplayMate.

What are its benefits? Precise factory calibration, frequency reduction to 50Hz with no touch and no ghosting. Other advantages over OLED include better clarity at a similar pixel density, calmer color reproduction and the complete absence of backlight flicker, which can irritate the eyes.

However, IPS is not the champion in terms of touch processing speed. It also does not provide the absolute depth of black and, accordingly, the economical Always On mode, for which OLED is so loved. The Redmi Note 11T Pro also has a noticeable blackout around the front camera cutout. In any case, if you can’t put up with the flickering and other shortcomings of OLED, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is one of the few good and affordable options.
Camera
As you know, photography has never been Redmi’s strong point, but the Note 11T Pro is still capable of taking good pictures. This is the merit of the main sensor Samsung ISOCELL GW1 at 64 megapixels, exactly the same as that of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. But our hero was pulled up programmatically, due to which he still surpasses the Mi 11 Lite.

The finished shots are clean, with excellent dynamic range and vibrant colors. In low light conditions, the smartphone does a good job of pulling shadows. However, there is no optical stabilization, which can cause blurry night shots.

A separate 8-megapixel wide-angle module, as always on inexpensive smartphones, gives good general views during the day and instantly fails with poor lighting. The software night mode helps to reduce noise and improve clarity, but nothing more.

Video capabilities without surprises: the main camera records 4K 30 FPS, while the wide-angle camera only records 1080P 30 FPS. Good electronic stabilization in 4K mode is not available. It turns out that Redmi Note 11T Pro is not the best smartphone for video shooting.
Hardware and performance
Perhaps, MediaTek Dimensity 8100 can deservedly be called the most performance chip in the segment of not the most budget, but still relatively inexpensive smartphones. It sees an impressive margin of safety due to 4 Cortex-A78 cores (2.8 GHz) and 4 Cortex-A55 cores (2 GHz) paired with a powerful Mali-G610 MC6 video core. However, the performance of Redmi Note 11T Pro according to the benchmarks is still slightly lower than that of competitors on the Dimensity 8100. On the example of Genshin Impact, the device tends to fix the frame rate at 45, however, skipping lags do not allow to achieve a “flat line”. For comparison, the rival Redmi K50 delivers more FPS during the first 10 minutes of the game, and after that it almost compares with the Redmi Note 11T Pro. It is not clear whether it happened on purpose or Xiaomi deliberately limited the gaming performance of our hero. In any case, this is a comfortable smart smartphone that allows you to play top games.

However, if gaming is an end in itself, it’s better to pay a little extra for the Redmi K50 for smoother graphics in heavy Genshin Impact. There is no particular difference in the same PUBG.
As for other hardware, Redmi Note 11T Pro has NFC, a linear vibration motor, an IR transmitter for controlling equipment, and even an audio jack, which is less and less common in modern devices.

Autonomy and charging
The built-in 5080 mAh battery looks impressive; flagships do not need such batteries. Xiaomi’s own 67W adapter is included, and the device is also fully compatible with Power Delivery 3.0. That is, whatever the power supply, fast charging will be available to one degree or another.
As noted at the beginning, Redmi Note 11T Pro + offers a much more powerful 120W charging in exchange for part of the battery capacity. It uses a two-section battery with a total capacity of 4400 mAh.
Review
In current realities Redmi Note 11T Pro can be estimated at 25 thousand rubles, and for this money it offers impressive performance and generally good stuffing. Before us is a potential Redmi hit for budget users who like to spend an hour or two in games. And the novelty will also be appreciated by fans of IPS screens, whose choice has been systematically narrowed in recent years. Should our hero prefer the Note 11T Pro+ with even more powerful charging? See according to your needs, but in my experience, 67 watts is almost lightning fast in replenishing the charge.

✅ Benefits:
- really powerful Dimensity 8100;
- high-quality IPS without PWM and ghosting;
- excellent camera by Redmi standards;
- a version with even faster 120W charging.
❌ Disadvantages
- the body is all plastic and old-fashioned gradient.
- the potential of the Dimensity 8100 is not fully revealed.
