After Google released the Android 12 source code for AOSP, Xiaomi announced a list of branded smartphones that will be the first to update to the new version of MIUI based on the fresh “green robot”. Among them there are models of both the Mi series and the Redmi series, but there were no surprises: flagships will be the first to receive the update.
Owners of the devices described in the picture above will be able to install the public beta version of the firmware based on Android 12 today, October 5.

When other smartphones will receive the update to Android 12 is unknown. But the list of models that will definitely be updated to the fresh “green robot” is already known – these are smartphones and tablets on which the new firmware is already being tested:
