Home projectors have long been positioned as replacements for conventional TVs, and in some respects they even surpass their “predecessors”, but projectors still cannot be called really popular – this is largely due to their high cost. Recognizing this problem, Xiaomi released the Projector Mini, a miniature and cheap (by projector standards) model.
It supports playback up to 720p and is equipped with an Amlogic T972 quad-core processor (12 nm), which is complemented by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The maximum brightness of the picture is 250 ANSI lumens.

With a weight of 1.3 kg, the dimensions of Xiaomi Projector Mini are 153 × 98 × 95 mm, but the manufacturer managed to fit an 8 W built-in speaker, all the necessary ports (HDMI, USB, 3.5 mm audio jack), an NFC chip, and battery – according to official statements, the projector will work for more than 2 hours without recharging.
Sales on the Chinese site JD will begin on September 9 at a price of about $ 345.
