Xiaomi has introduced a new smartwatch under the Redmi brand – Watch 2. The novelty should perform significantly better than the previous model thanks to the new Qualcomm Wear 5100 processor and a completely new display.
The main detail of the smartwatch, the screen, received a major update compared to the first version of the Redmi Watch, but retained the same shape – a rectangle with rounded corners. In the new product, instead of an IPS-display of 1.4 inches (320 × 320 pixels), an AMOLED matrix is installed, increased to 1.6 inches in size.
The smartwatch weighs only 31 grams, but it is not just a beautiful accessory, but a real fitness gadget with tracking of 117 types of workouts, a constantly working heart rate sensor and a function for determining the level of oxygen in the blood.
A capacious battery fits into a small case – the watch will work autonomously for up to 12 days. Recharging is carried out via a magnetic connector.
Redmi Watch 2 has practically kept the price of its predecessor – in the local market, the new product is priced at 399 yuan or $ 65. For comparison, now in Europe, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 fitness bracelet with NFC is on sale for $ 64.
