The Chinese industrial giant has announced its first Mi Mobile SSD, which will go on sale on December 14 via the Xiaomi Mall crowdfunding platform at a price of 649 yuan (about 5,850 rubles). Later, the recommended retail price of new items will be 799 yuan (about 7,200 rubles). The device will be available in only one version – 1 TB.
Mi Mobile SSD is made in a metal case using aluminum alloy, fine sandblasting and anodized finish. The read and write speed declared by the manufacturer is more than 2000 MB / s. Thus, a 4K movie can be downloaded to disc in just one minute.
Xiaomi SSD is widely compatible with all current systems and various devices. It can run on Windows 7, macOS X 10.6, Android 9 and up, and Linux Ubuntu 16/18/20.
