The Chinese blogger DigitalChatStation published screenshots of the alleged MIUI 13 on his Weibo profile (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter). According to him, Xiaomi started developing this update at the time of the MIUI 12 release and continued to work on the new firmware all this time, even during the release of a large intermediate update MIUI 12.5. Therefore, it is quite possible that the MIUI 13 design shown in the screenshots is still not final.
According to DigitalChatStation, MIUI 13 will be available for most smartphones released in the past two years. But, apparently, a firmware update shouldn’t be expected anytime soon.
