Xiaomi is preparing to take a significant step – to get rid of the names of its products from the Mi brand, which first debuted ten years ago with the launch of the company’s first smartphone. This was announced by the thematic resource XDA Developers with a link to a company representative.

According to a Xiaomi representative, the changes began with the innovative Mix 4 smartphone presented on August 10, 2021, and all future Xiaomi products will follow suit.
While the company is best known for its smartphones, Xiaomi also sells many products in a wide variety of categories, including TVs, laptops, refrigerators, multicooker, smartwatches, electric scooters, robot vacuums, hair dryers, and more.
Most of these devices are currently under the Mi brand. But in the future, Mi will disappear from the name for all new Xiaomi products.
