An insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station continues to talk about the new tablets being developed by Xiaomi before the official presentation. Earlier it became known that the Chinese manufacturer plans to return to the segment with at least one 11-inch model Mi Pad 5. Judging by the new information, there will be two tablets – it is reported that along with the Mi Pad 5, the release of the supposedly Mi Pad 5 Pro will take place, which will receive more efficient processor.
According to Digital Chat Station, both tablets will be equipped with an 11-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels (Quad HD +) and support for recognition of 4,096 degrees of pressure. The aspect ratio of the panel will be 16:10, it will also have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sampling rate of the touch layer of 240 Hz.
The main difference between the two Mi Pads lies in the hardware platform, despite the common supplier (Qualcomm). For the younger version, a Snapdragon 860 or Snapdragon 855+ processor with a 7 nanometer process technology is provided. The older model will be equipped with a more modern and premium Snapdragon 780G – a 5-nanometer chip with an optimized Snapdragon X53 5G modem that supports data transfer rates up to 3.3 Gbps in the sub-6 GHz range, and three integrated Spectra 570 GPUs. The Snapdragon 780G features the 6th Gen Qualcomm AI Engine.
