Xiaomi is testing MIUI 13: smartphones released in the last two years will be able to update

The developers of the MIUI 13 firmware from Xiaomi are recruiting those wishing to test or, to quote literally, “to take part in the study of the functional design of MIUI 13”.

It is confirmed that MIUI 13 is currently undergoing testing. In addition, it is known that smartphones that have been released over the past two years will be able to upgrade to MIUI 13. As usual, initially testing will take place in China, and later users from other countries of the world will be connected to it.

Development of MIUI 13 started immediately after the release of MIUI 12 last year, but in the process of creating the firmware, it was decided to release an intermediate version of the MIUI 12.5 shell, which continues to be distributed on Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones.
