When Xiaomi arrived in Italy in May 2018 few would have bet on its success and yet at the time it was the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Three years later, the Beijing-based company has made its way among the big names, now it is close to the second position among telephony companies and its leading products such as the new My 11 5G they are capable of seducing and convincing.

The new phone shown to the world with a global streaming presentation has indeed all that you need to be admired and to compete on equal terms with fierce competitors.

Aesthetically it is particularly cared for, with soft lines and a thickness of only 8.6 mm. The Mi 11 also boasts a very large Amoled display from 6.81 in frameless and elegantly curved on all four sides.

The WQHA + resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels), the refresh rate at 120 Hz, light output up to 1500 nit, support for HDR10 +, high contrast and the sensor that adjusts parameters when the phone is exposed to direct sunlight or when using the device to read.

The flagship of the Mi 11 is obviously the imaging department, with the main 108 megapixel camera flanked by a 13 MP ultra-angular camera, a 5 MP telemacro lens that together combine to create perfect images in every shooting situation. Also taking advantage of the 20 megapixel front camera.

For example, the Parallel World function duplicates and reverses the scene to give the impression of a mirrored world, while Freeze Frame Video crystallizes and clones video frames to create the illusion that parts of the video are suspended in time.

Image purists will appreciate it too the AI ​​Erase 2.0 function which allows users to remove unwanted objects or lines from images with a single click. To support all these applications we think the new processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, the currently most powerful chip on the market, also specifically designed to exploit all the speed of 5G networks.

Thanks to doppi speaker Harmon Kardon, Mi 11 5G also offers cinema-grade audio, while the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the smartphone from damage caused by accidental drops. The smartphone also adopts a double anti-glare satin finish able to capture the light, and limit the presence of fingerprints on the body.

The battery is not extremely capacious, it stops at 4600 mAh, but Xiaomi compensates for this limit with the charging speed entrusted to a 55W charger included in the package that allows you to go from 0 to 100% in just 45 minutes. The phone also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.

Users of the new Mi 11 will also have the latest version of the MIUI 12.5 operating system which has been implemented to ensure an even smoother user experience but with a strong reduction in consumption of up to 15 percent.

Prices are particularly interesting considering that it is a top of the range smartphone. The 8 + 128GB version costs 799 euros, while the 8 + 256GB version goes up to 899 euros. I Mi 11 5G is available in Horizon Blue and Midnight Gray colors, subsequently the color range will be expanded with the Cloud White and Lei Jun limited edition version.
