Huami, which manufactures Xiaomi Mi Band smart bracelets as well as its own wearable devices under the Amazfit and Zepp brands, has confirmed that it is adding new features to its upcoming smartwatches.
This was announced in a fresh interview by Zepp Health COO Mike Yeung, who said some of the new features include electrocardiogram, blood pressure, glucose, Spotify integration and various AI features.

Mike Yeung added that the company is already partnering with Alivecor in the US. Alivcor is a renowned manufacturer of ECG sensors. It is the first company to release an ECG sensor for the Apple Watch that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Our greatest achievement is, firstly, the ECG, and secondly, the study of sleep. We are going to continue to improve them further, and then we will monitor blood pressure and blood glucose levels. We’re also pretty optimistic based on current progress with glucose monitoring. It was not easy, but now we are confident that we can do it.
