Xiaomi today announced the winners of its annual Best Technology Competition. As a reminder, the department that developed the best technology wins a hefty $ 1 million bonus. In 2020, there were two such departments.
The first – the smartphone division and the hardware R&D division – received a cash bonus for developing a second-generation 120W charging system, which is currently only used in the Mi 10 Ultra. The second, the Mobile Software Division, won the award for new privacy and user data protection features in MIUI.
