Chinese tech company Xiaomi has announced a partnership with YouTube that will see some of its current and future devices receive a free YouTube Premium subscription.
The free trial period for owners of Xiaomi devices is three months, during which users can enjoy all the benefits of YouTube Premium. As a reminder, the YouTube Premium package offers access to music and video content in an ad-free environment. The package also includes a YouTube Music Premium subscription that offers over 80 million songs in addition to live performances and remixes.
In addition, a YouTube Premium subscription allows you to watch videos in a window with other apps in the background, download videos or audio for later viewing or listening offline, and play content with a locked screen to save battery power.
At the moment, the promotion applies to the following Xiaomi smartphones: Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11.
Interested users of these Xiaomi devices can take advantage of the YouTube Premium free trial by opening the YouTube app and following the instructions. Alternatively, users can visit youtube.com/premium.
