Xiaomi promised to release the final version of MIUI 12.5 for smartphones of the first batch on April 30, but in fact it did it a week earlier than the announced date. From today in China, an important update is available for the following smartphone models: Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra and Mi 9S.
It should be noted that we are talking about the final version of MIUI 12.5, and not a stable beta – that became available for the same Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra earlier. Regarding these models, everything is generally interesting: earlier the company promised the final MIUI 12.5 for the latest flagships only at the end of May – with the update of the second wave, but hastened to release the firmware now. Actually, many buyers of Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra had a question for MIUI 12 out of the box – they expected to see MIUI 12.5. Xiaomi made the excuse that it decided to equip the latest flagships with an old shell for reasons of stability. Now, apparently, all stability issues have been resolved.
How soon the final MIUI 12.5 will be released for the same models outside of China is still a question, but one might think that the delay will not be long.
