Xiaomi today unveiled its new self-developed Surging C1 processor, which is Xiaomi’s first professional image processing chip.
In 2017, Xiaomi released the Surging S1 single-chip system, but then the company took a long break and now released the Surging C1. Unlike the Surging S1, the new product is an independent image processor (ISP).
The Surging C1 processor uses Xiaomi proprietary algorithms to help smartphones perform more sophisticated and high-quality image processing. This processor responds to fast and accurate auto focus, white balance and auto exposure.
The Surging C1 will debut in the foldable XiaomiMix Fold smartphone with a foldable screen, and will appear in other mobile phones in the future.
