Xiaomi has announced today the start of pre-orders for the new Redmi 11 smartphones in China – it will be possible to do this on Xiaomi’s own website and on the JD.com site from eight o’clock in the evening local time. To order the device, a potential buyer needs to make a deposit of 100 Yuan ($ 15), but the company will kindly equate it to 200 Yuan. But that’s not the fun part yet.
As part of a promotion that encourages buyers to place pre-orders, Redmi Note 11 will be drawn every minute in a lottery format. It is unclear how long the promotion will last, but it will obviously please many. Pre-ordering will end on the night of October 31, and retail sales will kick off on November 1.
Xiaomi also revealed the memory configurations of the flagship line – Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. There are three of them, and they are the same: 6/128 GB, 8/128 and 8/256 GB.
