In a publication shared on social networks, Xuxa Meneghel offered solidarity to the relatives of Pelé, who died at the age of 82, this Thursday (29), in São Paulo.
In the publication, the presenter lamented the death of the king of football, mentioning the family members who were at Pelé’s side.
“Márcia, Kelly, Edinho, Jennifer, Joshua, Celeste, family members (children at heart), grandchildren, nephews, Lucia… and everyone who was by Dico’s side, my affectionate hug and may the pain of loss become good memories for be less heavy… Márcia, may God give you the lap you need”, says the text.
Pelé completed one month of hospitalization today at the Albert Einstein hospital. On November 29, Pelé was admitted to the hospital to reassess his chemotherapy treatment and was diagnosed with a respiratory infection.
The eternal jersey number 10 of the Brazilian national team died at 3:27 pm, due to multiple organ failure, a result of the progression of colon cancer associated with his previous clinical condition according to the medical bulletin.
