It is easier and faster to issue insurance information for real estate transfers in case of debts to EFKA, with a regulation included in an amendment submitted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to the bill of the Ministry of Interior “Targeting, evaluation and reward system for efficiency of public administration and other provisions on human resources in the public sector “.
In particular, with the proposed regulation, for the issuance of a certificate of insurance awareness and the debt certificate – which is a position of insurance awareness – especially for the purpose of real estate transfer, only the debts certified by KEAO will be taken into account.
This paves the way for the full digitization of the Debt Certificate issuance process. In the immediate future, the electronic submission of the debt certificate and the electronic issuance of a Certificate with the identity of the debt. Thus, visits to the branches of EFKA and KEAO will not be required for the registration of debts, the submission of a debt application and the issuance of the debt retention certificate as has been the case so far.
The possibility for real estate transfers with the issuance of an electronic certificate (non-existence of debt or debt certificate with the identity of the debt) will speed up and will facilitate the whole process, for the benefit of the trading citizens.
Among other things, with the same amendment:
• Issues related to the implementation – on a pilot basis – of the program “Personal Assistant for the Disabled”, regarding the establishment of special evaluation committees (which consider the need to provide services to beneficiaries), but also the scientific support of these committees through the Central Evaluation Committee, a new body that will be part of OPEC. The establishment of a Coordination and Monitoring Committee for the implementation of the program is also foreseen.
• Sub-issues related to the management by OPEC of the projects and actions included in the programs of the European Aid Fund for the Needy (TEVA) and the program “Housing and Work for the Homeless” are regulated.
