According to RBC, Yandex predicted a deterioration in the quality of search for users and the position of the company in comparison with competitors if Yandex fulfills all the requirements of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
The FAS earlier issued a warning to Yandex and demanded that it stop discriminating links to competing companies in search results. The warning says that Yandex gives priority to its own services in search results. We are talking, in particular, about interactive widgets called “sorcerers” that appear on the page with search results.
We do not agree with the FAS warning. Some of the requirements of the prescription have already been implemented in the search, but we consider some important parts of it to be incorrect. Fulfillment of all of the above requirements will worsen the quality of search for the user, which means the position of Yandex’s search on the market compared to competitors.

Yandex added that many search engines around the world use a similar ad-hoc response system. Without them, search quality becomes worse for users. At the same time, Yandex claims that no service from Yandex or another company has any priorities. At the moment, users can receive interactive extended responses, for example, from Wikipedia, Amediateka or Youla service, the company said.
FAS requires changes to be made within a month and every 10 days to report on the process. If the company does not react, then an antitrust case can be initiated against it.
