Yandex.Auto is now in LADA cars: from Navigator to Alice

Today, April 12, representatives of the Yandex company officially announced the integration of their own platform Yandex.Auto into LADA Vesta, Xray, Xray Cross cars. Now users who prefer the Russian car industry will have the opportunity to comfortably use their usual services right on the road – they will have access to Navigator, Music, Alice and Gas stations in the built-in multimedia system. However, it is worth clarifying that all these functions will be implemented only in vehicle trim levels with support for the LADA EnjoY Pro multimedia system with pre-installed Yandex.Auto.

Naturally, the use of all the above applications within the built-in multimedia system has a number of advantages – at least, it is much more convenient and safer due to the large display diagonal. Moreover, in certain situations, the driver will not need to be distracted from the road at all, transmitting commands to turn on the music, build a route or view weather conditions with the help of a voice to the assistant “Alice”. And the developers of the new multimedia system have implemented synchronization with the user account – the driver can draw up a trip route on a smartphone, and then transfer it to the display in the car, or find a car in the parking lot using the Navigator.

It is also important to clarify that the Yandex.Auto system has been deeply integrated into cars, so that the platform will read various information from a variety of sensors, helping the driver while driving. For example, in response to headlights, the system will switch from day to night interface mode, and if the speed exceeds 5 km / h, the background video will automatically stop so as not to distract the driver. Quite a nice bonus for those who have previously used all these services on a smartphone.
