The YaLM 100B neural network from Yandex has been released to the public. Now it is the largest GPT neural network model to date, which is available to absolutely everyone. It is designed to generate and process texts in Russian and English. Representatives of the company told about this to the Habr resource, who believe that such an initiative will give impetus to the development of generative neural networks.
YaLM 100B contains 100 billion parameters. This is more than any other existing GPT-neural network for processing the Russian language, which allows you to perform almost any task. For example, she can compose poetry, come up with an advertising slogan or product description for an online store, and so on. At the same time, this model is able to classify texts according to the style of speech. Yandex uses its neural network in more than 20 projects. YaLM 100B is used in the search engine and voice assistant Alice, as well as to generate advertisements and quick responses on the search page. In addition, the neural network helps Yandex employees respond to customer requests.
YaLM 100B was trained on Yandex supercomputers. She processed 2 TB of texts from the Internet and open datasets in both Russian and English. The project can be found on GitHub.
