As the RBC edition notes with reference to the Kommersant newspaper, the Russian regulator has already accepted Yandex’s petition.
Yandex believes that people should be able to make in-app purchases in any way convenient for them. The decision in this case can have a big impact not only on users, but also on developers. The FAS filed a case against Apple last fall. Prior to that, she was issued a warning and was given a term until September 30 to correct the violations. The company prohibits developers from informing users about alternative payment methods. At the same time, she takes a commission from each payment in the App Store in the amount of 15 to 30%.
