The Yandex.Maps team announced the launch of a series of augmented reality masks on Instagram – a virtual collection of hats with iconic symbols of Russian cities.
The collection includes eight masks-hats – the famous architectural objects of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and Kazan.
According to the developers, users will be able to try on the skyscrapers of Moscow City, the icon of the Russian avant-garde – the Melnikov House, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Bank Bridge of St. Petersburg, the Yeltsin Center, the Syuyumbike tower in Kazan, as well as the Novosibirsk Globus Theater and one of the attractions of Galitsky Park.
You can get hats with architectural symbols on your Instagram profile @ yandex.maps – in the masks section. Also, all objects are presented in evening lighting with special effects in the form of lighting up windows and backlighting – to see them, you need to click on the screen while shooting.
