The Yandex.Market team announced the launch of a new service — a trendy online department store called RUM.
Using this service, clothing and footwear manufacturers can create branded storefronts on Yandex.Market. At the moment, the RUM has a department with local brands. According to the developers, the service specifically combined them in one place to help manufacturers reach the audience of the marketplace and establish online sales throughout the country. You can look at their windows in turn, as if in a shopping center you go from one boutique to another.
In the RUM, you can design a showcase in the style of your brand, add collections of items and banners to it. The Yandex.Market department store features 13 local brands — for example, Toptop, Petra, Studio 29. The developers plan to expand the number of local brands and products in the room, as well as add new features for stores. For example, in the future, merchants will be able to place “Stories” on their storefronts to promote products.
