The Yandex team announced good news for users of the proprietary music streaming service. Yandex.Music has become available for listening on TVs.
As the developers explain, a section with Yandex.Music has appeared in the Kinopoisk application for Samsung and LG TVs, as well as in Android TV.
Yandex.Plus subscribers have access to My Wave recommendations, popular collections and smart playlists, their own collection and podcasts. The karaoke function is also available – the text appears on the TV screen as soon as the track is turned on, and the lines are switched depending on the performed fragment of the song.
You can use the section with Yandex.Music, as well as view the lyrics in the Kinopoisk application on smart TVs – on LG models from 2014 and above, Samsung from 2016 and above, or models with Android TV. The 2015 Samsung and Playstation 4 models will receive an update at a later date.
New features will automatically appear on LG, Samsung and Playstation 4 TVs, but the Android TV app needs to be updated to the latest version.
