The Yandex team, together with the American food delivery service Grubhub, launched food delivery using branded rovers on the main campus of Ohio State University in Columbus.

Orders from local cafes and restaurants will be delivered using Yandex.Rovers, already familiar to Russian users of Yandex.Eda, Yandex.Lavka and Yandex Go.

It is noted that the Columbus campus is one of the largest in the United States. More than 60 thousand students live and study in it. 50 Yandex robots will deliver food to students and teachers seven days a week from nine in the morning to nine in the evening. Courier robots will be able to deliver the order to the educational building, to the dormitory or, for example, to the library. You can deliver both a small snack from a sandwich and a full dinner for a student company.
Yandex and Grubhub signed a cooperation agreement in June 2021. The Columbus campus became the first campus where robots bring Grubhub orders. Later, the rovers will appear in other places as well. In total, Grubhub serves over 250 US campuses.
