Yandex began testing a new design of the main search page in the web version and in the mobile application. Anyone can already take part in beta testing by clicking on a special link on the page with news about the latest updates.
The main innovations of the upcoming redesign:
- gray background color instead of white;
- redesigned block structure with adaptive display;
- increased size of the search string;
- interactive widgets with weather, recommendations and updates in Yandex services;
- a single menu of Yandex services in the lower left corner, which is automatically hidden after the start of scrolling;
- news in the media and an endless Zen feed.
To enable the new design in the Yandex application, you need to click on the logo on the main page five times. Only works in the latest version of the app.
