Muscovites and guests of the capital can now use the mobile application to search for city charging stations, which are being installed as part of the Energy of Moscow project. The first partner of Yandex was the Rewatt company, seven stations of which with the service software are located near the Danilovsky market and the Tsvetnoy department store. Visitors have the opportunity to charge their car for free while they shop. You just need to pay for parking.
The head of Yandex.Zapravok Artyom Prudnikov noted that in this way the company wants to support the development of infrastructure and promote environmentally friendly transport. Placing stations near shopping malls and other crowded places is a good solution because you do not have to wait for the car to charge.
For the convenience of drivers, charging stations are displayed in the Yandex.Fueling application on a separate layer; they can be filtered in the settings. Users can not only find out the location of the stations, but also see if they are free. You can also immediately build a route to them. To connect to the charging station, you need to go from Yandex.Zapravok to the Moscow Transport application. Then select the station on the map, the connector and specify the charging time. In total, more than 60 charging stations for electric vehicles are now available. Over time, the company promises to add them to Maps and Navigator.
