The actress Dorinha Duval who gave life to Cuca In the first version of the children’s series “Yellow Picapau Site” died at the age of 96 on Wednesday (21).

Dirce Migliaccio
Dorinha Durval
Dorah Teixeira, known as Dorinha Duval, was born in São Paulo, on January 21, 1929. Before work on the small screen, she was a plastic artist and began her career on TV in TV Tupi, TV Excelsior and TV Rio between the 1950s and 60s.
In 1969, he migrated to TV Globo soap operas. Besides making history with “The Yellow Picapau Site” in 1977, Dorinha Duval was in iconic soap operas like “Brothers Courage” (1970), “Selva de Pedra” (1972) and “The Beed” (1973).
The actress, however, had her career interrupted in 1980. That year, she was convicted of killing her husband, at the time the publicist Paulo Sérgio Garcia de Alcântara with three shots after a discussion. They had been married for six years and she served eight months of the sentence and in 1987, she devoted herself to the fine arts.
In 2002, Dorinha Duval released her autobiographical memories in the book entitled “In Search of Light”. She died at the age of 96 on Wednesday (21).

ROSANA GARCIA
Rosana Garcia was born in 1964, in São Paulo and started working as an actress on television at the age of five, with brothers Isabela and Ricardo.
She was one of the students of the program “Moacyr Franco Show”, at Globo, in the early 1970s – attraction to which the father wrote pictures. Following, he participated in several soap operas, but the work that would make her enter the history of Brazilian television was like the First Nose, from “Yellow Picapau Site”.
Throughout his career, Rosana participated in several works at Globo, among them, several soap operas such as “The First Love”, “Bicho do Mato”, “A Patota”, “Horse of Steel” and “Fire on Earth”.
Although she has grown in front of the cameras since 2001, she has been acting as a cast preparation at Globo, assisting professionals in the intense work of diving in a character.

Zilka Sallaberry
The actress premiered on stage in 1936 and came from a family of artists. Her mother was a theater actress, then making a career on the radio. His father was a comedian, and his maternal grandparents were also actors.
The star had a spell at the magazine theater in the 1950s and Zilka Sallaberry’s first contact with television was through TV Tupi teleteats, especially children. Already in 1967, the actress joined the cast of the soap operas of Globo. His first role was a beggar in ‘The Crazy Queen’ (1967), by Gloria Magadan.
Just 10 years after she took the role of Dona Benta in the first version of “Site”, which eventually became the longest role in her career. In the following years, she continued to work and in 2006, was honored by the Center for Research and Study of Children’s Theater (Cepetin) with the creation of the Zilka Sallaberry Award for Children’s Theater, aiming to value the quality production of theater for children.
The actress died on March 10, 2005, at the age of 87, at the Samaritano Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, of respiratory failure.

Jacira Sampaio
Born in 1922, she was over thirty when she debuted in the theater, in the play João Sem Land, by Hermilio Borba. Before being an actress, she worked in the warehouse of a Maternity Hospital in São Paulo.
In 1959 she debuted in the cinema, acting in the movie The Price of Victory (1959) and made other feature films. On television, Jacira debuted on TV Record, starring the Teleteatro Imitation of Life (1960), based on a racial classic that had already been presented in theaters.
In 1964, she joined TV Excelsior and in 1970 went to TV Tupi. However, it was at Globo that her acting as an actress stood out in the role of Aunt Nastasia, that she gave life from 1977 to 1986. The actress died in 1998, victim of a heart attack.

Júlio César Vieira da Cunha e Silva
The first Pedrinho of the first version of “Site” was lived by Julio César Vieira da Cunha e Silva from 1977 to 1980, at Globo.
In the same period, the actor was in other soap operas such as “The Love Is Ours”, “Angel Bad” and “The Bem Amado”. On his time on television, he also participated in the programs Os Breast (1987) and Chico Anysio Show (1982).
Nowadays, the actor is 60 years old and keeps a life away from the spotlight.

André Valli
Actor André Valli, stage name of Joaquim dos Santos Bonifácio, was known to play the character Sabugosa Viscount in the first version of the show. His last participation in soap operas, in turn, was in 2007, in Record TV’s “Opposite Lives”, where he was hired until his death.
Valli’s television career began in 1971 with the character Godofredo in the soap opera “The Cafona”. Following, he acted in plots that made history at Globo, such as “The Bem Beloved” (1973), “Roque Santeiro” (1975), “Sin Capital” (1975) and “Slave Isaura” (1976).
The artist died in 2008 months after being diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer.
